Job Description The Access Control Coordinator (ACC) is a site level resource that data center/security personnel can leverage to gain a deeper understanding of our customer's access management processes and systems. They will assist with problem solving and enabling the site team to obtain the most appropriate access for their visitors/workers. The Access Control Coordinator role requires a strong technical aptitude, SOC system access, working knowledge of SOC operations, direct communication, and coordination with Operators to schedule changes based on escort requirements. The Access Control Coordinator is designed to be a direct site support role and is required to be based in the admin space of the lead data center building for ease of accessibility for the site team. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design, and maintain training programs on physical security, including access control, CCTV, and other related topics. * Maintain advanced subject matter expertise in physical security technology and trends. * Oversee end-users' security platform training and manage the applicable documents. * Document processes and procedures (Technical and non-technical security related). * Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software-related settings in Lenel OnGuard (Software installation, network, access panels, readers) * Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software related setting in Avigilon CCTV systems (Video analytics, network video management, and cameras) * Perform site security assessment to identify risks and vulnerabilities and develop mitigation and countermeasures * Commission and decommission security equipment and systems. * Develop physical security plans and procedures and support team members as needed. * Forge and maintain business relationships with internal and external partners. * Manage the delivery and roll-out of several operational and transformation projects simultaneously. * Communicates and reinforces principles, programs, processes, and standards and communicates openly and regularly about business issues. * Ensures all security equipment and systems are operating in accordance with operating procedures and escalates all problems/issues to management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * Computer proficiency (moderate to advanced MS Office 365). * Extensive knowledge of physical security technologies. * LenelS2 OnGuard certified an asset. Specialized knowledge in Windows Server. * Specialized knowledge in Avigilon installation and configuration. * Experience managing security projects / leading teams. * Clear and concise oral and written communications skills. * Understanding and knowledge of IT Security. As our ideal candidate, you have: * Three to five years of experience in a physical security technology department. * Thorough knowledge of security-related systems. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills. * Thorough knowledge of local and international security processes and standards. * Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage priorities. * The ability to be discreet and ensure confidentiality. * A strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently. * Flexible regarding your availability. * Project management skills. * Available to travel to client's United States locations if necessary, this will be an infrequent requirement Closing Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
