Responsibilities
This opening is for the Field Marketing Specialist team supporting the South-Central Market Area. The ability to communicate and build relationships with all levels of leadership is essential. The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) will collaborate with VPAs, Sales Leaders (SL), Field Implementation Coaches (FIC's), FIC Managers, and other Marketing peers to pro-actively and strategically support the development and execution of marketing programs and desired behaviors. The preferred candidate will be located in the South-Central United States, work within business hours of the Central Time Zone, and have the ability to attend in-person meetings within the VPA territory or other locations as needed. Preference may be given to candidates who live within or near the VPA territory. The selected candidate will be a teleworker working from their home residence. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Consulting and influencing Agency Field Leadership (primarily VPAs and/or SLs) on Auto, Homeowners, Life, Financial Services, and other growth tactics, plan development, and execution
- Plans, creates, presents, and/or produces marketing communications, presentations, and/or promotional materials to implement marketing programs
- Drives engagement in Marketing programs and activities including supporting local agent branding efforts and the Digitally Enabled Agent
- Deep analytics skills needed to assess market conditions, develop marketing and results forecasts, estimates costs, conduct marketing tests, etc.
- Acts as a voice for the agents by advocating for agent and field partner needs within project work
- Anticipates, recognizes, and solves problems associated with decisions that are critical to the overall success of all aspects and phases of marketing projects
- Recognized as an authority and expert resource for resolutions of complex or unique business problems associated with enterprise, marketing and sales programs
- Under limited direction and supervision, works within broad limits and authority on highly complex assignments requiring specialized knowledge

- Digitally savvy: Strong knowledge of digital marketing elements and the importance of State Farm's digital presence
- Technical Proficiency: Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
Additional Skills
- Prior experience working in a field environment with Agency and other field supporting roles
- ECRM expertise, including the ability to utilize Analytics Studio dashboards to analyze the performance of a VPA market, territory, or agent
- Knowledge of the South-Central insurance market, and it's unique regulatory environment

- Potential starting salary range: $78,081.25 - $99,540.63
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
