AGE Solutions is seeking a Sr. Cloud Operations Engineer. In this role, you will support the design, development and deployment of cloud cyber security solutions in a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment. You will be part of a high-power team proving out a prototype for production at full scale. This position requires an understanding of major cloud platforms and technologies as well as the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. This is a Hybrid position located in Arlington, VA. Key Responsibilities: Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure. Design and implement NOC and SOC capabilities. Design and enforce robust network security. Troubleshoot complex cloud and network issues. Collaborate and communicate across teams. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience: Eight (8) years of general experience in cloud engineering roles or a related field Citizenship and Clearance: US Citizenship is required. Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and the willingness to obtain a TS/SCI Eligibility Certifications: DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification Knowledge and Skills: Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments Implement NOC tools and operations including system/network monitoring, incident management, and service health tracking Implement SOC tools and methodologies, including SIEMs (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk), vulnerability scanning, and cloud security best practices Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals (firewalls, DNS, VPN, routing protocols) Familiarity with Zero Trust security architecture and cloud-native security tools Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Desired Qualifications: CISSP or equivalent certification Familiarity with Special Access Program security requirements Work Environment and Physical Demand: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.
