Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for a results-oriented and experienced (Sr.) Manager, HR/Recruiting to join our Human Resources team and lead the recruiting team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating a talent acquisition framework that aligns with business goals and direction. The role will lead a team of recruiters, drive performance, optimize processes, and ensure a seamless, high-quality candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in full-cycle recruiting, and utilize data to drive decision making, and process innovation to enhance hiring efficiency, quality, and diversity. This position will be based out of headquarter office in San Jose, CA which requires work on-site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the recruiting team in executing full-cycle recruitment activities efficiently and within specified timelines.
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent strategies to identify and secure top-tier, diverse talent, driving Supermicro's business growth.
- Responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process, including auditing job contents, crafting, and reviewing job descriptions, screening, sourcing, and hiring to fill open positions.
- Cultivate a high-performing and engaged team capable of designing, implementing, and delivering effective talent strategies for the organization.
- Collaborate with business executives, leaders, and HR teams to understand business needs, fostering proactive growth of talent pipelines through online sourcing and sourcing campaigns.
- Ensure the alignment of performance metrics with organizational objectives, utilizing them strategically and communicating results effectively.
- Evaluate and enhance existing recruitment processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and enhance the organization's reputation.
- Engage in career fairs and networking events to connect with potential candidates.
- Stay abreast of changes in labor legislation and communicate relevant updates to hiring managers and HR staff, ensuring organizational compliance.
- Share best practices in recruiting, and foster continuous improvement across the team.
- Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic priorities and translate them into actionable recruiting strategies
- Work with managers and leadership teams to set clear goals and development plans for their teams. Provide coaching and feedback to employees and leadership to drive performance.
- Ensure that Super Micro's HR practices remain in compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Prefer 5+ years of HR experience (prior experience in a tech company preferred, experience in a manufacturing company is a plus).
- 8+ years managing a recruiting team and high-volume recruitment experience, tech industry strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Experience creating and implementing recruitment programs, setting up university internship partnerships, and campus recruiting.
- Ability to work independently and resourcefully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; communicate effectively all levels of management and candidates.
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills which maintain high performance and develop future talent.
- Data driven capability - ability to use appropriate metrics that influence and drive decisions.
- Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment requiring innovation and adapting to a rapidly changing, ambiguous environment.
- Must possess a strong sense of urgency with ability to juggle multiple positions.
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and HR software. Experience in SuccessFactors is a plus.
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range
$150,000 - $210,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
