TS POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
McCallie Associates, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager with a strong background in IT and Cyber Security to join our team. Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Manager is a key member of the Subsidiary leadership team and plays a critical role in enhancing operational effectiveness across the organization. This position is responsible for analyzing and improving business processes, supporting the Subsidiary President in day-to-day operations, and driving performance across a portfolio of federal contracts. The Operations Manager will evaluate project performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Acts as the liaison between program managers and the McCallie Associates President to provide status updates and findings on project technical and financial performance. * Acts as the information technology and cybersecurity SME for McCallie Associates providing support for proposal solutioning and writing and reach back for project teams. * Performs reviews of project financial statements, invoices, profit and loss statements, contract documentation and deliverables, technical reports necessary to measure program and project success and driving profit and results in operations. * Evaluates financial and operational information for projects to identify issues and barriers for corrective action, through utilization of operating process, daily management reports, dashboards, and monthly financial reports. * Monitors project performance against strategic plans; provides coaching and direction to subordinate managers; and otherwise providing leadership toward success. * Supports budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing activities, overseeing subordinate managers with P&L responsibility. Reports accurately on progress made and challenges encountered. * Develops and promotes strong customer relationships through the execution, performance and quality of work provided from subsidiary operations to end customers. * Supports implementation of Corporate and Subsidiary policy, planning, and strategy decisions. * Manages quality assurance of programs and subsidiaries. * Identifies and addresses problems and opportunities for McCallie Associates projects. * Continually investigates and introduces process improvement measures. * Communicates progress and budget reports, goals, and risks to the McCallie Associates President. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* A minimum 12+ years of proven experience supporting a portfolio of Federal Contracts, of which eight (8) years are as a manager for multiple simultaneous programs or projects. Four (4) years of additional work experience working with the government in a management role may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. * Experience managing the cost, schedule and technical performance requirements of multiple programs through all phases from inception to completion. * Experience managing federal contracts throughout the US and Internationally. * Ability to gain and retain Top Secret Clearance.
