Hours Monday-Thursday 1 pm-11 pm

About the Role:

As aWorking Maintenance Lead, you'll be responsible for performing maintenance tasks while also leading and coordinating the daily priorities of the maintenance team on your shift. You'll ensure equipment is running efficiently, communicate needs and updates to management, and help keep the team organized and focused.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead by Example:Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, PM's, and installations of equipment and machinery.
  • Coordinate Priorities:Organize and assign maintenance tasks based on shift needs and production schedules.
  • Communicate Effectively:Provide end-of-shift updates to management, including completed work, parts used, and any outstanding needs.
  • Troubleshoot Issues:Diagnose and resolve mechanical problems quickly and safely.
  • Support Safety:Ensure all maintenance activities follow OSHA and company safety standards, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Mentor Team Members:Support and guide less experienced technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Maintain Records:Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status.
  • Stay Organized:Ensure tools, parts, and materials are stored properly and work areas are clean and safe.
  • Additional Duties:Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior leadership or crew lead experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret machine schematics and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
