About the Role:

Supports the execution of communication strategy, processes, and tactics to tell the Neurocrine story to various internal and external stakeholders. Contributes to the Corporate Communications team functions, including corporate, digital, employee, pipeline, and/or product communications.

Your Contributions:
  • Assists the development and implementation of the company's internal communication strategy and takes lead on initiatives.

  • Recommends and creates content for internal communication channels, including emails/newsletters, digital signage, and presentations.

  • Recommends and instills best practices for internal communications.

  • Maintains the company's intranet website.

  • Submits corporate and employee awards.

  • Participates in company's community engagement initiatives.

  • Supports the planning and staffing of all employee meetings and events.

  • Collaborates with HR, Marketing, and other internal teams to develop communication programs and initiatives.

  • Provides project coordination and tactical support for the Corporate Communications team.

  • Coordinates Corporate Affairs retreat agendas, speakers, and presentations.

  • Supports management of employee company store.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in Journalism, Marketing Communications, Business or equivalent combination of education/work experience and 4+ years of employee/organizational communication, PR or marketing communications experience

    OR

  • Master's degree and 2+ years of related experience

  • Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work

  • Has strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas

  • Proficient with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area

  • Ability to work as part of a team; may train lower levels

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

  • Detail oriented yet can see broader picture for department

  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

  • Strong project management skills

  • Working knowledge of developing communications, writing, editing, and supporting project teams

  • Working knowledge of communications planning, project management and global perspective/cultural sensitivity

  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously with tact and diplomacy

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a wide range of people in a fast-paced environment

  • Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $95,100.00-$138,050.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
