RRT

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Schedule: Every other weekend (Fri/Sat)

Note: RTO MUST be included with submission

Responsibilities include floating to all Adult Units ED/Critical Care and NICU.

Experience Required: 1.5 Years

Licenses and Certifications:

• NJ License Required
• NBRC Certification Required (CRT and RRT accepted)
• BLS and ACLS Required

Charting System: EPIB

Types of Procedures:

• Ventilator Management
• Arterial Blood gas sampling and analysis
• Medication administration
• Oxygen therapy administration (HFNC)
• Airway secretion mobilization
• Transport of patients on Invasive/NIV therapy to procedures
• Response to patient emergencies

Experience with Equipment:

• Servo-I
• Medtronics 980

NICU equipment and patient management for Invasive and Non-Invasive modalities:

• High Frequency Oscillator Ventilator
• High Frequency Jet Ventilator (Bunnell)
• Inhaled Nitric Oxide management with NICU equipment
• NAVA (preferred, training available)

Additional Responsibilities: Response to L&D if needed to assist

First time travelers are accepted with Critical Care experience
