The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs' corporate strategy, and in preserving the firm's distinctive culture. We are responsible for safeguarding the firm's relationship with alumni, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm's evolving priorities. We also partner with the businesses to source high-impact opportunities in line with the firm's social and sustainability agendas.

Led by the firm's first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs is backed by momentum and a broad imperative to unify the discipline, helping to codify a business-critical function seen as core to the firm's future growth. As such, GS is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization consists of COE teams including Brand Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Transformation, Content, Design, Media, and Marketing Tech and Effectiveness, as well as marketing teams for each of our revenue businesses. Together, this function collaborates to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. About the Role

Reporting to the Firmwide Head of Paid Media, the Associate will play a key role within the paid media organization, helping to drive commercial growth of the business via expertise in the paid media function. They will partner with COE leads and other marketing colleagues across lines of business to help develop and execute strategic paid media campaigns from awareness through to acquisition. This role will be primarily focused on B2B lines of business (Asset & Wealth Management and Global Banking & Markets) and will be global in nature with activations across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

Responsibilities



  • Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive paid media strategies across various platforms and channels in partnership with agency partners
  • Assist with optimizing, implementing, and analyzing campaign activations
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing reporting and actionable insights to optimize strategies, budgets and tactics
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the team's processes for improved collaboration and execution
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in paid media and digital advertising to continuously innovate and enhance campaign performance
  • Manage invoicing, budget tracking and maintenance of media schedules with our agency partners
  • Risk Management: Maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines for all marketing communications including proactive management of operational risk.
  • Partnership and collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships across Executive Office and various line of business marketing colleagues


Qualifications



  • 3-5 years of agency-side media planning and activation experience, cross-channel and global knowledge is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of media fundamentals and an understanding of key research sources
  • Knowledge of digital media logistics and technology such as ad server, ad viewability/verification partners and 3rd party measurement vendors
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Detail oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment while maintaining extremely high standards
  • Ability to develop and articulate strategic insights, comfort with data and media analytics
  • Experience working on a financial services client is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)


Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
