Duties:

Provide ongoing support of applications deployed to OCC's non-production AWS environments and support third party applications. Lead, create and maintain a reliable testing application framework to enhance the stability and easy troubleshooting of the new environments created and the existing ones, while utilizing experience with DevOps and automation. Lead, design, develop, and execute automated tests for Infrastructure, and applications. Collaborate with development teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve quality and efficiency. Participate in code reviews, defect triage, and other software development activities. Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to improve automation strategies and tools. Work with the DevOps team to integrate automation tools into the CI/CD pipeline and automate deployment processes. Monitor Cloud Native applications running on Kubernetes within AWS. Maintain continuous integration and deployment tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Vault, Kafka, Splunk, Helm, Rancher and Harness. Design, build, and maintain Kafka infrastructure, including clusters, topics, brokers and producers/consumers. Integrate Rancher, Kubernetes, Jenkins and diverse DevOps tools with AWS cloud-based system. Write automation scripts using common automation tools, such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform. Create procedural and troubleshooting documentation related to cloud native applications. Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in CS, computer systems engineering or related and five (5) years of experience as a DevOps engineer, automation test engineer, enterprise monitoring engineer, consultant or related

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Maintain continuous integration and deployment tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Vault, Kafka, Splunk, Helm, Rancher and Harness; 2) Design, build, and maintain Kafka infrastructure, including clusters, topics, brokers and producers/consumers; 3) Integrate Rancher, Kubernetes, Jenkins and diverse DevOps tools with AWS cloud-based system; 4) Write automation scripts using common automation tools, such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform. $149,781-$158,100

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
