SUMMARY

Engaged in processing and management of customer's quotes, samples, purchase orders, and requested shipping schedule/type/method to ensure customer satisfaction by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Assures timely processing of customer request for quotes, samples and product purchases.
  • Monitors and effectively communicates the status of customer request for quotes, samples, new design requests with Inside/Outside Sales and/or the customer.
  • Monitors and effectively communicates the status of Purchase Orders with Inside/Outside Sales and/or the customer.
  • Recommends and or implements corrective actions to eliminate customer complaints.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE


  • Must have a minimum 1 years' experience with the customer service, insides sales, or receptionist field and/or equivalent, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills are required

COMMUNICATION


  • Ability to follow Company policies and procedures in compliance with Signal's branding standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately both orally and written.
  • Ability to communicate work goals, progress and changes as required.

COMPUTER SKILLS


  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS


  • Establish objectives and procedures governing the performance of assigned activities.
  • Maintain appropriate communication within area of responsibility; keep associates informed as to Company/department's plans and progress.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with assigned team and with all applicable departments, customers and vendors.
  • Ability to work within a flexible organization structure, taking feedback within a dual reporting relationship.
