Job Description

Leader Tech is a world leading innovator and manufacturer of EMI shielding products for circuit boards, electronic enclosures, interconnect cables and Thermal solutions founded in 1984.The Company serves a diverse commercial and military customer base from its Global EMI Shielding Technology Center located in Tampa, Florida. Every detail of the company's one-of-a-kind manufacturing facility is tailor-engineered to streamline and improve customer service, engineering and manufacturing processes.

Position Summary:

The Die Setter Press Room is responsible for setting stops on machine beds, changing dies, and adjusting components for machines in the Press Room and other areas on the production floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Able to set up punch press progressive dies and trouble shoot them as well.
*Able to perform set-ups on timely basis with minimum supervision, Minster presses experience a plus.
*Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: read blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
*Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
*Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.
