Summary:

As a Sustainability Analyst at our accounting firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sustainability initiatives and integrating sustainable practices into our business operations. Your responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing data related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies to enhance our sustainability performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability projects, track key performance indicators, and prepare reports to communicate our progress internally and externally with clients. Additionally, you will stay abreast of emerging sustainability trends and regulations to ensure our firm remains proactive and compliant in addressing sustainability challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and analysis under B Corp, SASB and other sustainability frameworks
  • Assist with the following engagements:
    • B Corp assessments
    • Sustainability reporting under SASB and IIRC (Value reporting foundation) frameworks
    • Audits, reviews and compilations of Company information under applicable sustainability frameworks
    • Other projects including GHG (GreenHouse Gas Emissions) water and energy usage analysis
    • Consulting and data analysis
  • Test various sustainability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), utilizing information from management and company data systems.
  • Organize and analyze data proficiently using intermediate and advanced Excel skills.
  • Document procedures to ensure clarity and consistency in processes.
  • Compile and maintain binders and templates for easy access and reference.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss sustainability initiatives and progress.
  • Address points and comments identified during supervisor reviews to refine work quality.
  • Attend training courses to enhance knowledge and skills related to sustainability practices and methodologies.

Compensation Range: $36.06 - $40.00/hr *
