Summary
Prospects new accounts and maximizes the sale of products and services. Develops influential
relationships with internal and external customers. Responsible for cross-selling with other divisions and
lines of business and participating in the development and execution of sales programs designed to
maximize the sale of company products. Gains customer insight in order to meet needs of our customers'
business. Involved in the entire sales cycle, including initial customer contact, identifying product
solutions for each customer and managing any logistical needs of the customer. Responsible for working
cross-functionally across departments and with suppliers to maximize sales.
Essential Functions

* Contacts prospective customers and persuades them to purchase products and services and
identifies opportunities to cross-sell with other divisions and lines of business.
* Serves as a specialist in their product line with general knowledge of other products and lines of
business.
* Seeks out prospective customers and persuades them to purchase products and services.
* Acts as the main point of contact for clients while also including other business experts on sales
opportunities and relationship management activities.
* Develops and utilizes sales and marketing programs, pamphlets, print ads, etc., to help promote
the Company's objectives.
* Ensures understanding of customer's market and can develop and tailor sales plans to meet their
needs.
* Develops and executes sales presentations for customers.
* Demonstrates product and services, benefits and capabilities and discusses alternative solutions
that benefit the customer and highlight product lines.
* Prepares and presents customized plans, budgets and schedules for each customer.
* Conducts cold calls to potential clients to build and maintain long-term business relationships in
assigned areas.
* Develops, strengthens, and maintains long-term business relationships with existing customers to
ensure a favorable standing in the marketplace.
* Conducts sales calls on accounts to provide service and support.
* Reviews customer quality expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Represents the company at industry events, tradeshows and in person meetings and networks
with corporations and relevant industries.
* Prioritizes product development ideas with customers.
* Works with management to develop pricing, terms and allowances and evaluates competitive
situations to meet customer budgets.
* Analyzes and reports on existing and potential product/service markets.
* Troubleshoots service and delivery issues and escalates as required.
* Maintains professional relationships within the industry to enhance reputation as a supplier to be
trusted.
* Ensures timely execution of objectives and priorities.
* Inputs and tracks information in CRM and/or other sales software system(s).
* Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, demand, finance, and general business
conditions in collaboration with Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams.
* Closes sales and achieves yearly quotas as assigned.
* Leads and/or participates in Virtual Meetings using a variety of virtual meeting software.
* Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety
regulatory considerations.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of production, sales, and/or customer service experience
reflecting increasing levels or responsibility to include 2 years of sales experience focused upon
logistics, agricultural products and services, mobile bottling services, equipment, glass, aluminum
cans, oak and/or packaging products such as labels, closures, and bottle decorating services; OR
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of G3 production, sales, and/or customer service experience
reflecting increasing levels or responsibility to include 2 years of sales experience focused upon
logistics, agricultural products and services, mobile bottling services, equipment, glass, aluminum
cans, oak and/or packaging products such as labels, closures, and bottle decorating services; OR
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 10 years of production, sales,
and/or customer service experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility to include 2 years
of sales experience focused upon logistics, agricultural products and services, mobile bottling
services, equipment, glass, aluminum cans, oak and/or packaging products such as labels,
closures, and bottle decorating services ; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency
certificate plus 9 years of G3 production, sales, and/or customer service experience reflecting
increasing levels or responsibility to include 2 years of sales experience focused upon logistics,
agricultural products and services, mobile bottling services, equipment, glass, aluminum cans,
oak and/or packaging products such as labels, closures, and bottle decorating services reflecting
increasing levels or responsibility
* Required to travel domestically and internationally around 35%-50% of the time by air and/or car.
* Required to have a valid US passport.
* Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Required
to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.
* Skilled in the use of MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook at an intermediate level
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of sales experience to include experience in the food/beverage or
packaging industry reflecting increasing levels or responsibility; OR High school diploma or Stateissued equivalency certificate plus 11 years of sales experience to include experience in the
food/beverage or packaging industry reflecting increasing levels or responsibility.
* Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
* Experience selling packaging products such as Kegs, labels, closures (corks, crowns, wire
hoods), logistics services, mobile bottling services and bottle decorating services.
* Prior work experience in the Winemaking, Enology, Viticulture, Food Science, Packaging
Engineering, or Spirits industry.
* Bilingual in Italian, French, and Spanish languages.
* Customer driven and a team player.
* Skilled in working independently, making sound decisions under demanding time constraints.
* Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting complex documents.
* Experience responding effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
* Experience making effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or
complex topics to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
* Demonstrates strong personal selling, time management, public speaking skills.

Compensation
Hiring Salary Range: $75,600 - $94,500.
Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
