Property Manager I

Location: Tuzigoot Village located in Cottonwood, AZ

Part time - 25 hours per week

Job Summary
We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of affordable housing properties. This role ensures regulatory compliance, maintains high occupancy, supervises staff, and fosters a positive community environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Manage daily property operations and budgets

• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and related programs

• Implement and enforce policies and procedures

Resident Relations

• Address resident concerns and service requests

• Coordinate move-ins/outs and organize community events

• Conduct property inspections

Leasing & Occupancy

• Market units, screen applicants, manage leases

• Maximize occupancy and minimize vacancies

• Collect rent and manage delinquencies

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure income certifications and program compliance

• Submit reports to regulatory bodies and management

• Stay updated on housing regulations

Staff Management

• Hire, train, and supervise property staff

• Conduct team meetings and performance evaluations

Maintenance Oversight

• Oversee repairs and property upkeep

• Ensure health and safety compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• 3-5 years of affordable housing property management experience

• CPM or ARM certification preferred

• Strong knowledge of housing regulations, leadership, and communication skills

• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
