Job Description:
Location: Tuzigoot Village located in Cottonwood, AZ Part time - 25 hours per week Job Summary We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of affordable housing properties. This role ensures regulatory compliance, maintains high occupancy, supervises staff, and fosters a positive community environment. Key Responsibilities Operations Management
Manage daily property operations and budgets Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and related programs Implement and enforce policies and procedures
Resident Relations
Address resident concerns and service requests Coordinate move-ins/outs and organize community events Conduct property inspections
Leasing & Occupancy
Market units, screen applicants, manage leases Maximize occupancy and minimize vacancies Collect rent and manage delinquencies
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure income certifications and program compliance Submit reports to regulatory bodies and management Stay updated on housing regulations
Staff Management
Hire, train, and supervise property staff Conduct team meetings and performance evaluations
Maintenance Oversight
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years of affordable housing property management experience CPM or ARM certification preferred Strong knowledge of housing regulations, leadership, and communication skills Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
