The Treasury Relationship Officer's job is to build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients assigned to a Treasury Management Sales Officer, focusing on identifying and meeting their needs for treasury management services. This involves driving business growth by expanding existing relationships and securing new clients through tailored solutions and consulting services. They also ensure the efficient operation of treasury functions within their portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing excellent service.
  • Treasury Solutions: Identifying and proposing appropriate treasury management solutions to meet client needs.
  • Consulting and Advice: Providing expert advice and guidance on treasury products and services and problem solving for high value clients
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensuring efficient operation of treasury functions.
  • Collaboration: Working effectively with internal teams, including Treasury Management Operations, Deposit Operations, Treasury Management Sales and other teams as needed.
  • Market Knowledge: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Individuals in this position are required to become well versed within the Treasury Management field in order to timely service customers. This will be inclusive of handling lender referrals for Fx, Merchant Services, Credit cards, and 1031 Exchanges.
  • Assist with product implementations that can be accomplished via phone
  • Process various types of maintenance requests identified within the portfolio


Qualifications:



  • A strong interpersonal and relationship building skillset
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Management products and services and general banking experience
  • A proven record of success in client retention, cross-sell and goal achievement
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • The ability to interact effectively with other bank personnel across functional lines.
  • Prior Treasury experience highly preferred
