Warehouse Lead

Heritage Professionals Products is seeking a self-motivated team player to fill our role as an Warehouse Lead - Operations Associate. Experience working in a landscape/irrigation industry is a plus.

Seeking a self-motivated, service-oriented candidate that is knowledgeable in the warehouse/shipping/receiving industry.

The Warehouse Lead/Operations Associate work in conjunction with their Branch Manager to lead the team with energy, professionalism, and an urgency to complete tasks.

You will be responsible for managing all phases of inventory control to include purchasing, weekly cycle counts, pricing, review, and disposition of damaged and outdated stock. Other duties include order processing, day-end balancing, and assisting with all other areas of running the branch.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to interact with employees, customers, vendors, and contractors in a professional manner.

• Basic computer skills and a basic understanding of Microsoft Office is helpful.

• Supervision of drivers and warehouse operations to include guiding, assigning, and training personnel to receive, store and distribute products.

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure that orders are pulled timely and accurately and that they are loaded and unloaded for the vendor or customer promptly.

• Oversee the dispatching of trucks for timely and accurate delivery of product to job sites.

• Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment with similar responsibilities as Assistant Manager/Supervisor/Warehouse Lead.

• Driving forklift in this type of setting is a plus.

• Relevant purchasing and inventory management experience.

• Must be organized, detail-oriented with minimal error rate, computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

• Dedicated to service and sales excellence by developing lasting customer relationships.

• Knowledge of an ERP system is highly preferred. Agility software preferred, but not required as it is easily learned by someone who has database experience.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly each day.

• Be reliable, safe and a team player.

• High School degree or GED.

• Have a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.

• Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test.
