Responsibilities
The Business Intelligence Analyst position will provide outstanding, direct support to a Department of Defense (DoD) customer conducting research into foreign government investments in technology. They will support the customer Program Director and Acquisition Program Managers by advising on government investments to ensure the DoD maintains military capabilities that are greater than parity. This position will be located in Crystal City, Virginia.
- Analyzes data and processes to provide business intelligence derived information to DoD leadership
- Advises management on the content and interpretation of business data
- Utilizes software to conduct analyses and manage data processes
- Recommends alternative data or analysis solutions to management based on available data and capability needs
- Implements new data or analysis processes based on changing business or industry conditions
- May develop documentation and policies on data collection, transformation and deployment for business intelligence applications, reports and requirements
- May engage in requirements gathering with clients or other business partners
- May review collected data for additional validation and collection integrity, oversee deployment of data to data warehouse
- May test new business intelligence solutions, trialing tools and software that improve report development and end user experience
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in business intelligence analysis Experience with acquisition programs and/or acquisition policy/processes Experience with developing and coordinating staff packages and navigating staffing processes At least 5 years working in a SAP or SCI environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with the Department of Defense Acquisition process, contracting, program planning and execution
Education Requirements:
- BS Degree Required/ MS Degree Desired
