Bilingual Transit Administrative Coordinator (English/Spanish)

$6,452 - $7,845/Monthly*

Sonoma Public Infrastructure (SPI) is seeking a dynamic candidate with fluent English/Spanish skills to fill a Bilingual Transit Administrative Coordinator position. In this role, you will serve as a bridge between front-line staff and management providing essential support to ensure smooth daily operations, compliance with policies, and effective communication across teams. This role may also be involved in reporting, scheduling, and assisting with service planning or grants. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Staff Oversight & Support: Supervising two front-line staff positions, helping with scheduling, training, and day-to-day problem solving
  • Reporting & Documentation: Preparing operational reports, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with grant-related documentation to ensure compliance with local, state, or federal requirements
  • Customer Service Support: Stepping in as needed to support customer service, answering complex inquiries, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring high service standards are maintained
  • Coordination & Communication: Acting as a liaison between departments and facilitating communication among internal and external customers as well as contractors.
  • Process Improvement & Project Assistance: Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, assisting with the implementation of new systems or procedures, and supporting special projects as directed by management
