We are seeking a passionate and experienced instructor to join our graduate faculty and teach in our online Master's in Counseling program. This dynamic program prepares students to help individuals become more self-aware, develop a growth mindset, and navigate life's challenges through evidence-based counseling practices. Ideal candidates will bring both academic and professional expertise to guide students through the study of counseling theories, therapeutic techniques, and consultation methods. Students engage with diverse populations and complete both practicum and internship experiences under licensed supervision, applying their skills in real-world settings. As a faculty member, you will play a key role in shaping competent, compassionate counselors equipped to make a meaningful difference in their communities. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to student-centered teaching, familiarity with current standards in the mental health field, and the ability to integrate practical experience into the virtual classroom.

The newly appointed Adjunct Faculty member will be responsible for teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester, as well as revising, reviewing, or developing curriculum as assigned. In addition, they will be required to attend all mandated professional development and training sessions and ensure the collection and submission of student learning assessment data. Active participation in campus and system-wide committees, meetings, projects, and other related activities will also be expected.

The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited institution (required) and demonstrate a strong commitment to student-centered teaching, clinical training, and alignment with current standards in the mental health field.
