Clayton Hotel & Members Club is managed by Aparium Hotel Group which was founded in 2011 by Chicago hospitality executive and entrepreneur Mario Tricoci and luxury hotel veteran Kevin Robinson. The duo saw a clear need for a company that could bring c-suite service and accommodations to underserved, yet distinct and important cities, while maintaining and celebrating the unadulterated character of each. Driven by the belief that all hospitality experiences should be fueled by the poetics of their surroundings, Aparium was born with an intense focus on unearthing the amazing moments unique to every city.
THE ROLE



The Membership Sales Manager is a key ambassador of the club, responsible for driving membership growth through strategic sales initiatives, personalized outreach, and exceptional service. This role plays a critical part in promoting the club's unique offerings to prospective members while ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-driven professional with a passion for community building, strong sales acumen, and the ability to connect authentically with diverse individuals.



You will quickly develop trusting relationships with clients, vendors, planners, and ambassadors of the hotel and members club. As a team member within Aparium Hotel Group, you will work with a phenomenal group of peers who insist that you are collaborative, humble, experienced, and open-minded - no egos allowed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Membership Sales & Acquisition

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract new members and meet monthly and annual membership targets.
  • Own the full lead lifecycle-from initial inquiry to application, tour, and conversion.
  • Conduct and manage weekly club tours for prospective members, effectively

    communicating the club's values, offerings, and community benefits.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, materials, and outreach initiatives to generate new leads.
  • Work closely with the Director of Membership to identify growth opportunities, develop initiatives to expand reach within key creative and professional communities.



CRM & Data Management

  • Utilize the club's CRM system to maintain accurate lead and member data, track interactions, and personalize follow-up communications.
  • Regularly analyze sales data, track performance against KPIs, and prepare detailed monthly reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess and implement best practices to enhance the sales pipeline and overall member journey.



Strategic Partnerships & Community Engagement

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with local external partners that align with the club's values to support brand awareness
  • Represent the club at industry and networking events to drive visibility and establish connections within relevant communities.
  • Assist in coordinating and leading engaging new member orientations, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and integration into the club community others in a genuine and warm fashion inside and outside the property.
  • Always conduct oneself in a polished and professional manner
  • Uphold and model the company's principles of People, Place, and Character; and drive collaboration, intuition, and translocal hospitality

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • You excel in building and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to have a proactive and innovative approach to identifying business opportunities
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends or evenings, holidays
  • Adaptable interpersonal skills for a wide range of audiences
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance together with excellent communication, problem solving and listening skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Docs, and PowerPoint. Salesforce a plus
  • Experience in working in Membership Business Models
  • Sales experience within a hotel, membership club, or similar
  • Professional proficiency of the English language in reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • Comfortable in your own skin, know who you are and have a point of view

Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year plus eligible for performance incentive
