Overview

This position is onsite and does require occasional travel between Rockford, LI and Janesville, WI as needed.

Assists in the development, analysis, and implementation of compensation programs that are internally equitable and externally competitive. Regularly audits job description content. Develops and/or participates in compensation/benefit surveys to analyze company's competitive position. Reviews proposed salary adjustments and works with other stakeholders to make recommendations resolve compensation-related challenges.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the completion of market analysis and recommendations for pay adjustments and range changes.

* Coordinate various compensation requests by researching, developing and preparing reports, letters, and spreadsheets.

* Supports pay programs such as merit increases, differentials, registry, and other incentive programs.

* Determine market pricing and FLSA status for new and revised positions while ensuring compliance with Federal and State guidelines.

* Complete internal equity and retention reviews as requested. Make recommendations for changes as needed.

* Work with Business Partner and departments to develop and modify job evaluation results, job descriptions and department organizational structure.

* Research industry developments, trends and pay practices.

* Set up and maintain compensation in the Workday system, including but not limited to market adjustment and merit increase implementation, paygrades, and positions.

* Answers phones and greets customers entering the department as needed.

* Actively participates in department specific committee(s).

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Social Services or related field required.
Two years' experience in Human Resources required.

Certification and Licensure

PHR, SPHR, or other relevant certification preferred

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
