Network Administrator Lead III (Training Network) Senior (C.5.4)

Responsibilities include; but not limited to:



  • Leads ongoing J10, JNN and JNTC network support, addresses availability issues, overcomes performance problems.
  • Installs, maintains, and coordinates the use of network systems.
  • Manages network performance, diagnoses performance problems, and undertakes tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network.
  • Reports on overall network performance including frequent problems, underlying issues and plans to improve network availability, performance, and problem resolution.
  • Trains users, maintains, creates, and deletes user accounts. Manages and updates system security plans on all platforms.
  • Creates, implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Enforces network security policies and procedures.


Degree(s)/Years of Experience: (10+BA/BS or 5+MA/MS) or (14+AA/No Degree).

Certification(s): 8570 DoD Certification

Experience:



  • Experience leading ongoing J10, JNN, and JNTC network support, addressing availability issues and overcoming performance problems.
  • Skilled in installing, maintaining, and coordinating the use of network systems.
  • Experience managing network performance, diagnosing performance problems, and undertaking tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network.
  • Experience reporting on overall network performance, including frequent problems, underlying issues, and plans to improve network availability, performance, and problem resolution.
  • Experience training users, maintaining, creating, and deleting user accounts.
  • Experience managing and updating system security plans on all platforms.
  • Experience creating, implementing, and coordinating network policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Experience enforcing network security policies and procedures.
