Account Rep IV - Commercial

Position Description:

In the role of Account Rep IV, you work in the Clinical Practice Services department. You provide support for the supervisor in the areas of claims submission, posting, account follow-up, and review. You assist the supervisor in monitoring, reviewing, and directing daily workflow. This role also assists in establishing and implementing team goals, policies, and procedures. You develop training plans and monitor training needs for the team. You resolve escalated billing issues.

Hybrid position: 90% Remote 10% Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, prioritize, and delegate tasks to all team members to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency in meeting organizational goals and deadlines.
  • Assist the supervisor in establishing training and quality assurance processes for new and existing staff. Identify problems in operations or personnel and make recommendations. Assist in team planning (goals and objectives). Assist writing and implementing policies and/or procedure changes.
  • Resolve issues presented by Account Representative II and III's. Assume responsibility for the team in the supervisor's absence on a short-term basis.
  • Maintain knowledge of contracts associated with MCW and regulations and changes in the healthcare industry.
  • Train and mentor senior level staff as required on all system functions and changes and assist in the training of employees as needed.
  • Monitor trends in activity and provide reports to supervisor.
  • Prepare minutes and notes from various meetings or committees.
  • Participate in external and internal meetings and/or committees.
  • Establish and maintain external and internal communications.
  • Assist team in daily work activities to maintain established work goals.
  • Perform necessary billing activities to maintain team goals.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Supervisor.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

  • Knowledge of quality control, customer service standards, information management, procedural process, and recordkeeping.
  • Computer, technical, interpersonal, oral communication, listening, and patience skills.




Preferred Schedule:




Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.



Position Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis

Minimum Required Education: Associate degree
Minimum Required Experience: 5 years
