Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 annually

Regular, Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Manhattan, KS (onsite) - This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work environments

You'll focus on major gift fundraising and collaborate with a passionate team that shares your commitment to excellence.

What You'll Do:

  • Make qualification calls and visits to cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts of $50,000+
  • Collaborate with development colleagues to create strategies for donor engagement and solicitation
  • Maintain meticulous records of donor interactions and proposals in Salesforce
  • Travel to meet with donors and manage multiple high-impact relationships effectively
Requirements
  • 5+ years of full-time, transferable experience in positions that were metrics focused, requiring measurable output and relationship building
  • Experience calling, conduct face-to-face appointments, manage relationships, and present proposals effectively
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with a diverse client base
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on active listening and effective collaboration in team settings
  • Travel required

What we want:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in fundraising or sales, with a focus on developing and managing a portfolio of donors or clients and successfully closing gifts or completing sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of fundraising techniques and systems
  • Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage complex projects to meet deadlines and deliver results
