Summary: As Rhode Island*s largest health system and private employer Brown University Health is dedicated to improving the health of the people within our communities. We are seeking a Senior Clinical Programs Administrator to join us in Providence Rhode Island. You will plan direct and implement administrative and clinical activities for Hasbro Children*s Hospital Primary Care and Medicine Pediatrics as well as Brown Health Medical Group Hasbro Primary Care clinics. We will rely on you to: Responsibilities: Provide direct oversight of 3 practice managers and 3 clinical managers Lead development of care management preventative health coordination and clinical programming Lead coordination of quality activities Lead coordination of PCMH activities Provide direct oversight of nursing staff Lead development of onboarding process and competencies for clinical staff Assist in the development coordination and implementation of our quality service culture Monitor quality improvement performance reports Participate in selection hiring orientation and supervision of administrative and clinical support staff Assist with managing clinical operating and grant budgets as well as monitoring and reporting systems Assist with preparing reports to assist in analysis and decision-making Assist with monitoring expense and revenue budgets monthly Develop and maintain appropriate working knowledge of third-party regulations and requirements Analyze space utilization in programs and off-campus sites Other information: Qualifications Bachelor*s degree in nursing or related healthcare field and knowledge of administrative clinic management normally attained through courses or experience in management or healthcare administration; graduate degree preferred 3+ years of experience in management within an ambulatory clinic/practice with demonstrated emphasis on effective financial data and people management preferred Experience in primary care or community health center setting preferred Knowledge of PCMH requirements government and private payer quality payment programs preferred Basic Life Support (CPR) Working at Brown University Health At Brown University Health we utilize a multidisciplinary team approach to medicine and provide the right blend of autonomy and collaboration.
