Strategic Buyer

Staffmark is partnering with a leading construction supply company in Florence, KY to find a skilled and motivated Strategic Buyer. This isn't your average purchasing role-it's an opportunity to drive innovation, build supplier relationships, and contribute to a company that values quality, sustainability, and teamwork.

Salary & Schedule

• Salary: $75k-$90k (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1st shift)

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
• Proficiency in SAP for purchasing and inventory management
• Knowledge of ABC analysis and strategic inventory techniques
• Ability to interpret product drawings for sourcing materials
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors a plus
• Strong understanding of supplier management and cost-reduction strategies

As a Strategic Buyer, you'll:

• Source materials and components aligned with project requirements
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Implement cost-effective procurement strategies
• Support business goals through accurate and timely purchasing decisions
