This is a Part-Time (56 hrs/2 weeks) position alternating Wed, Th, Fri and Sat 8:30-5pm. in Chula Vista. If census is low you will work in Hillcrest. Bonus Eligible*

Our rehab team at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista is eager to welcome an Inpatient Physical Therapist to their tight-knit department. You will partner closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and excited to make a difference in this southern San Diego community.

The Physical Therapist (inpatient) provides Physical Therapy evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education as prescribed by qualified medical practitioner in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 requirements.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met



  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
  • Must remain in original department/specialty
  • Must remain in original Job Title
  • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

* Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT in the State of California

* Current BLS Certificate

Preferred Experience:

* Physical therapy manual therapy skills
