Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for web and mobile applications.
- Participate in various stages of the systems development lifecycle, including analysis, requirements, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document application and integration support issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete tasks and assignments.
- Resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to keep applications modern and competitive.
- Support and enhance existing custom and third-party applications and their associated system integrations.
- Manage a workload consisting of project-specific and operational support tasks.
- Successfully led the development and deployment of significant application features or modules.
- Consistently met high performance and reliability benchmarks for developed applications.
- Played a key role in a project completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
- Received recognition from peers or management for exceptional contributions to a project or team.
- Created innovative tools or scripts that enhanced the development process or improved team productivity.
- Actively contributed to team or company discussions, presenting creative solutions to complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in applicable technologies.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and guidelines.
- Capable of documenting daily activities and system functions.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required and participate in on-call rotations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal skills for collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Skilled in applying knowledge, logic, and data analysis to solve problems.
- Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly and efficiently.
- Understanding of software and data security principles and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- College Degree or equivalent required
- 1 year related experience
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to follow technical instructions and guidelines
- Ability to document daily activities and system functions
- Able to work in team environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization both internally and externally
- Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
