Director of Investor Relations Overview:

The Director of Investor Relations and Strategic Planning is responsible for ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders. This position will also assist in shaping SCA's overall business strategy. This position is also responsible for creating the appropriate strategy, framework, and tactics, as well as for providing a very compelling investor relations roadmap. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It also requires the ability to carefully manage relationships outside the company in the equity research and investor community.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for shareholder queries, manage the dissemination of financial information, and ensure all investor communications are clear, accurate, and timely. Oversee the preparation and presentation of quarterly earnings and other financial disclosures. Coordinate with finance, legal, and corporate communications teams for regulatory compliance. Develop strategic plans and accessing company performance
  • Manage equity research and investor relationships
  • Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team
  • Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business
  • Lead or support in organizing investor days, earnings calls, and roadshows. Prepare and deliver presentations to investors and analysts, both domestically and internationally. Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting
  • 10 or more years' experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and analysts
  • General understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
  • Demonstrated ability to be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Strong familiarity with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
  • In-depth understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
  • Must have a high degree of initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors


Preferred Qualifications:



  • An MBA or FMVA certification
  • Airline experience


Compensation:

$145,000.00-175,000.00 USD. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.

Work Environment:

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets. On occasion, this position will be required to operate in the Maintenance Hangar.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
