This opportunity is in the Legal Department.

Working actively with executive and senior leadership teams, our Legal Department assists in achieving the company's goals by not only partnering with the business, but also managing corporate liability and compliance. Role Description:

As the Legal Operations Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping the Legal Department organized and operating smoothly. Reporting to the Manager of Legal Operations, you'll handle a variety of administrative responsibilities that support Safety National's regulatory compliance and business operations. You'll maintain legal filing systems, process legal documents, and provide general administrative support-including travel arrangements, check requests, and expense reports. You'll also manage legal document imaging and track legal billing with accuracy. This role allows you to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking while working autonomously on assigned tasks. Non-exempt: Please note, this position is classified as Non-Exempt under federal wage and hour laws. As such, you will be required to clock in and out for all hours worked and will be eligible for overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a given workweek.

Qualifications:



  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
  • Legal training and/or experience as a legal secretary or assistant in a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensure as a Notary in the State of Missouri.


Education:
A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
