Position Title: Graphic Installer Wage: $61,000 - $75,000/year Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm Are you a hands-on installer with a passion for craftsmanship, precision, and mentorship? We're looking for an experienced Graphic Installer / Production Specialist in Waukegan, IL to lead by example on job sites, mentor a junior apprentice, and help shape a growing installation team. This is a leadership role for someone with strong installation skills and the desire to take on more responsibility over time, both in the field and as a team leader. You'll install wide-format graphics (vehicle wraps, wall murals, window signage, etc.), collaborate with the production and design teams, and be the go-to expert on-site ensuring the job is done right the first time. Graphic Installer Responsibilities: - Lead graphic installations on-site including vehicle wraps, wall graphics, window films and signage with precision, quality and attention to detail - Mentor and train an apprentice installer, teaching hands-on techniques, best practices, and safety procedures - Collaborate with pre-press and production to review files, prep materials and ensure every job is installation ready - Serve as an on-site leader, communicating clearly with clients, sales staff and internal teams to exceed expectations - Conduct post-installation inspections to ensure quality and durability - Address issues and flag concerns to the Client Services Manager - Track project progress using internal software (PSI, ProMail) and keep installation records up to date - Drive a company vehicle to job sites (typically within a 50-mile radius of North Chicago) Requirements for Graphic Installer: - 3+ years of hands-on experience in wide-format installation (vehicle wraps, window graphics, sign installations, trade show installations, wall murals, etc.) - Strong knowledge of materials, surfaces, and techniques for installing adhesive vinyl and large-format graphics - Confidence working independently and managing on-site challenges with professionalism - Comfortable training and mentoring others, clear communicator with potential leadership - Solid knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety protocols related to installation work - Working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record - Ability to lift 50lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and perform tasks in varying environments (indoor/outdoor) - Technical training or certification in graphics, printing, or design, Adobe Creative Suite, PSI, ProMail, or similar project tracking software preferred Why Join Us: We're a leading commercial print company with big plans and we want someone ready to grow with us.
