Position Title: Operator
Wage: $17.50 - $20.50/hour (Based on Experience) Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm (May Vary Based on Overtime) We are looking for hard-working, team-oriented individuals to join a great team in the Middleton area! These are first shift positions with pay based on experience, and there is potential for hire based on performance. Operator Responsibilities: - Follow production schedule and communicate scrap needs with the forklift driver and molding operator - Identify and grind correct type of scrap to designated bins - Sustain continuous material flow and meet production needs to acceptable production rate - Operate grinder and in-feed conveyor - Perform basic materials handling, operate control system and operate tools to cut wire casing off of scrap - Remove bale wires and all visible foreign material from scrap - Lift and position materials for production - Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment Requirements for Operator: - Able to work overtime as production needs arise - Able to use math and understand and calculate measurements, fractions and weight scales - Able to read, write and understand English - Able to work as a team - Previous work history in manufacturing with longevity in past employment madison@qpsemployment.com IND035 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
