This role will support our Performance Coatings Group (PCG) R&D team. Provides intermediate office or basic administrative support for a department. Responsibilities may include drafting documents, maintaining and updating records, and providing assistance to higher-level administrative support staff. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships. * Publish all approved color formulations from internal and external color labs into all necessary color software systems. * Store the electronic color standards and trial formulas into the necessary color software systems. * Manage and maintain the color standards storage program, this includes organization of panels and keeping spreadsheets associated with each project up to date. * Update the customer request project file daily. * Enter color panel data to build the color matching cloud. * Maintain all color usage and color tool information in Aurora and Paint Mixer Pro software systems. * Update Navigator with published UFN data. * Complete paper conversations as requested by the field. * Be the first line of contact for the GI Color Support email account * Ship color panels to customer, sales, and tech reps as requested and maintain a log of panels shipped. * Manage and maintain SW data for the Guardian program. **New- to be started later in 2025** * Panel and data management for Color Reader Pro program **New - to be started later in 2025** * Requests lab supply orders. * Provides basic administrative support, such as drafting documents, maintaining schedules, and utilizing specialized programs to track, maintain, and update information. * Performs basic office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, entering data, and running basic or standard reports. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math field.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be proficient with MS Office
- Two years of clerical or office support experience.
- Computer knowledge for basic inputting, and communication
- Experience using complex software
- Experience compiling and maintaining information
- Experience coordinating basic office operations
- Experience providing customer service
- Experience communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction
