Position Overview

The O&M Technicianlocated on Joint Base Cape Cod , Mashpee MA, will support daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of groundwater treatment plants and associated systems. This includes hands-on tasks involving inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and programming of process controls and mechanical equipment, as well as water sampling and site maintenance to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.


Responsibilities



  • Operate and maintain groundwater treatment plant equipment and control systems



  • Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical and electrical components



  • Conduct calibrations and minor programming of process control systems



  • Monitor and sample water from plants and groundwater sources for regulatory compliance



  • Complete daily logs and maintenance reports



  • Assist with general building and grounds maintenance



  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental compliance protocols





Required Qualifications



  • Background in maintenance with knowledge of troubleshooting, calibration, and repair practices



  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check


  • Driver's License



Desired Qualifications


  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related technical field is preferred
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain)


Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.

Pay Range
$35 $42 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
