Position Summary 50% of the position will be Utilizing the ASPIRE philosophy and processes, the BA will support the Patient Care Center, Centralized Department and patient by providing a variety of services such as: monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI`s), database management, information processing, patient/department support, materials/inventory management, educational/training functions, and unit-specific tasks.50% of the position will be performing technical and patient care task and continuous observation, interpretation, recording and communication of cardiac rhythms, vital signs, exercise modalities, symptoms, and education into the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab reporting system. Communication will be to the Registered Nurses and Exercise Physiologist. Education High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a recognized course in cardiac arrhythmia interpretation and certification. Completion of formal business/medical training preferred. Completion of a medical terminology course preferred. Experience Previous comparable experience in an acute care setting preferred. Computer Experience required. Knowledge of windows environment. Previous customer service experience preferred. Medical office experience preferred. Previous experience with telemetry monitoring or completion of a basic arrhythmia course preferred. Skills Effective communication and writing skills, ability to articulate and use proper spelling and grammar. Effective interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with co-workers and other staff. Effective critical thinking skills, analytical, problem-solving, decision making, prioritizing, time management, etc. Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
