Inside the Role

In this role, you would analyze claims responses to verify completeness, integrity, and validity. Allocate warranty costs to internal departments as appropriate. Provide analytical support to the Warranty Department. Support assigned supplier claim backlogs to insure claims are responded to in a timely manner consistent with established guidelines, goals, and policies. Resolve Dealer Warranty inquires.

Position offers a starting salary range of$58,000 - $75,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive

  • Provide analytical support to the Warranty Department.
  • Working with Cross Department Teams in Identifying Systemic Issues, supporting JAD topics, and Best Practices.
  • Interface with a variety of engineering groups, including but not limited to Technical Service, Service Engineering to determine best repair practices for non-documented repair procedures.
  • Work with other DTNA departments to determine responsibility for resolution of warranty claims determined to be DTNA responsibility.
  • Adjudicate warranty claims in the Online Warranty Link system (OWL).
  • Insure claims are accurately responded to and timely while maximizing recovery.
  • Resolve Dealer Warranty inquires.
  • Analyze claims to verify completeness, integrity, and validity.
  • Allocate warranty costs to internal departments as appropriate.
  • Analyze interpret and validate supplier denials.
  • Respond to claim inquiries/appeals from dealers, fleets, plants, suppliers, business units, and field service organizations.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college required ORan associate's degree and2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • At least two years warranty and/or analytical experience.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and be detail oriented.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • An attached resume is required

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Prior experience interfacing with DTNA suppliers and/or customers
  • A working knowledge of OWL, vehicle components, and DTNA suppliers.
