Inside the Role

As part of the Warranty team, you will interface with many different departments within DTNA including Warranty, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Field Service to name a few. This position will also work directly with suppliers in testing and reporting out on technical findings.

In this position your core responsibilities will be to be the technical support for the Warranty team. You will be responsible for reviewing claims, validating supplier testing, and making recommendations to Warranty based on technical findings. You will have the opportunity to participate in Supplier Joint Inspections with Warranty Recovery by supporting onsite testing. You will help drive improved quality by deep diving Warranty Issues with cross functional DTNA teams.

Position offers a starting salary range of$65,000 - $83,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA:

  • Modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems/protocols.
  • Implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
  • Supports and conducts quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess the level of control and manage product quality risks.
  • Undertakes root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.
  • Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • Requires working knowledge and expanded professional experience in job field.
  • Requires understanding of key business drivers.
  • Provide informal guidance to team members.
  • Will support projects or processes as required.

Knowledge you should bring

  • BS in Engineering or related field OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree is required.
  • Knowledge of testing parts and evaluating components.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within guidelines and policies to solve problems of moderate complexity.
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Exceptional Candidates Might have

  • Warranty knowledge in claim review.
  • Experience with supplier testing.
  • Knowledge of the truck electrical architecture and all of its components.
  • CEEA+ & CEEAce background.
