Job Purpose
- The SAP Business Analyst supports the Team Manager in areas of policies and procedures, manages SAP SOX audit support and documentation, and supports governance and risk control.
- They must understand Honda project management methodology with J-Flows and corresponding documentation, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the processes they oversee and the consequences of any changes
- The candidate will provide operational support for SAP MM, WM, and FI modules.
Key Accountabilities
- The SAP Business Analyst supports SAP MM, WM, and FI modules by gathering business requirements, executing test plans, and training users while maintaining thorough documentation.
- They ensure SOX compliance by managing Change Management documentation, coordinating updates with stakeholders, and supporting audit processes.
- The role includes reviewing SAP transport documentation, resolving discrepancies with SAP teams, and preparing materials for walkthroughs and auditor queries.
- They manage material master data, procurement, inventory, and financial integration, and support both standard and custom SAP transactions.
- The analyst also contributes to project lifecycles from requirements to go-live, including documentation and testing.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4-8 years of IT/Accounting/Finance/Purchasing experience (Functional or Technical)
- In-depth understanding of the in-scope Functional and Technical capabilities in SAP
- Advanced knowledge of Honda business operations End to End within a given workstream.
- Advanced knowledge of the system processes related to SOX compliance and how these are linked in the system.
- Detailed knowledge of escalation procedures and criteria
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Meeting facilitation skills
