Job Summary General Description: Specific duties may include conducting gage calibration program; incoming parts inspection; inspection of customer required, critical measurements; maintaining necessary paperwork according to customer requirements and Quality Department guidelines. Job Description Basic qualifications include Ability to understand prints, basic mathematical ability including functional use of decimals Ability to use micrometer, calipers, optical comparator, microscopy, and other precision measuring equipment as well as CMM operation upon completion of training. Ability to use calibration equipment to measure and adjust gages Willingness to engage in limited travel as required for training or customer relations Must have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus Mapics, and other programs. Must manage priorities well in a team environment Other preferred attitudes include: self-starter, positive leadership, cooperates with management, encourages others, supports company goals, and high ethics. Any training or experience with quality systems or measurement systems is helpful Physical requirements include Ability to regularly bend, kneel, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
