Job Summary

General Description:
Specific duties may include conducting gage calibration program; incoming parts inspection; inspection of customer required, critical measurements; maintaining necessary paperwork according to customer requirements and Quality Department guidelines.

Job Description

Basic qualifications include

  • Ability to understand prints, basic mathematical ability including functional use of decimals
  • Ability to use micrometer, calipers, optical comparator, microscopy, and other precision measuring equipment as well as CMM operation upon completion of training.
  • Ability to use calibration equipment to measure and adjust gages
  • Willingness to engage in limited travel as required for training or customer relations
  • Must have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus Mapics, and other programs.
  • Must manage priorities well in a team environment
  • Other preferred attitudes include: self-starter, positive leadership, cooperates with management, encourages others, supports company goals, and high ethics.
  • Any training or experience with quality systems or measurement systems is helpful

    Physical requirements include

  • Ability to regularly bend, kneel, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
