Job Overview
Responsibilities of this hands-on position includes supervision of all direct and indirect labor activities within the Pre/Final test departments in an ISO 9001 environment. Provides training, guidance and assistance to department personnel. Prioritizes and assigns tasks to ensure maximum efficiency. Monitors workmanship and overall performance of department members and compliance with ISO procedures. Maintains standard operating procedures (SOP's) and work instruction sheets (WIS's) up-to-date. Initiates corrective actions (CAR's) where necessary and executes activities demanded by engineering change orders (ECO's). Ensures proper labor and inventory reporting. Performs various levels of test operations. Provides proper and sufficient tools, test rigs and equipment to ensure efficiency. Monitors equipment calibration requirements and ensures that equipment and tools are in compliance with Quality Assurance Policies. Provides training and ensures adherence to all safety procedures.
