Position Summary

Join our product development team at Nestle Professional Solutions! We are looking for someone with a growth mindset that is willing to leverage their expertise while autonomously learning new products, systems, and solutions. You will drive leadership on low complex projects to identify solutions, deliver the innovation and renovation portfolio, and optimization/improvement projects. You will partner with cross-functional teams to leverage and translate customer needs into project pipelines. You will collaborate internally and externally to build relationships to continuously improve your technical skills and personal development.

1. Implementation of Innovation & Renovation strategy for the supported product categories in the market. Liaise & leverage both the industry and global Nestle Network insights to develop, implement, and execute product development activities (e.g. bench top, pilot plant, shelf-life testing, and internal/external factory testing) to achieve project goals and deadlines to delight the consumer & customer.

2. Introduction of new products with current processes within factories and external manufacturers. Collaborate and influence internal and external project teams to develop, industrialize, and launch on a complex range of Innovation and Renovation projects.

3. Continuously improve/optimize current product and processes within factories and external manufacturers according to local business needs and supply situation and/or implementation of initiatives. Lead technical projects including technical assistance, sourcing, quality improvements, compliance, and cost savings.

4. Work directly with customers, on an as requested basis, to understand back of house operations, customer requests and needs, and solve technical challenges with NPS products.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

* A BS degree in Food Science or related field.

* Position requires approximately 10-30% travel.

EXPERIENCE:

* Prefer 0-3 years of product or process development experience in the food and beverage industry or related field of work with at least 1 internship. Factory environment or equivalent supply industry experience across several product platforms is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

* Ability to work in a fast paced and high performing environment

* Exceptional organizational skills & ability to manage multiple projects and assignments

* Strong communication skills: interpersonal, presentation, oral and written

* Highly motivated, critical thinker, goal oriented and easily adapts to change* Computer Skills: Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Power Point, Word

* Preferred: SAP, Recipe Management Systems, Microsoft Office applications
