Fleet Maintenance Specialist

• This is an onsite position. Our corporate office is located at 7440 S. Hwy 121 McKinney, TX 75070

What you'll Do:

• Oversee and manage routine and preventive maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.
• Monitor and coordinate all recall notices and ensure timely resolution in partnership with vendors and service providers.
• Track and manage maintenance documentation, service records, and repair history to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the disposal process for decommissioned, totaled, or surplus assets, including documentation, logistics, and vendor coordination.
• Support fleet invoicing tasks, including allocation of VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards) codes and verification of maintenance-related CAPEX invoices.
• Coordinate with vendors for repair scheduling, warranty claims, and replacement equipment.
• Maintain accurate fleet records in fleet management systems and ensure up-to-date asset tracking.
• Generate reports related to maintenance performance, repair trends, and cost analysis to support decision-making and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with fleet and field personnel to ensure proper maintenance protocols are followed.
• Respond to inquiries and provide support for maintenance-related issues or concerns across the organization.
• Maintain all assigned performance metrics at or above established goals.
• Promote a team-oriented work environment by maintaining strong communication and assisting colleagues as needed.
• Remain adaptable and responsive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Requirements We Look For:

• 2+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, asset management, or a related operational support role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in automotive or fleet maintenance is a plus.
• Experience with fleet invoice processing, including VMRS coding and CAPEX invoice tracking.
• Strong understanding of fleet maintenance practices, vendor management, and service scheduling.
• Familiarity with recall coordination and warranty processes for fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data entry and reporting.
