Application Specialist/Trainer

A Day in the Life:

The role of the Application Specialist - Trainer is to manage successful software conversions for our field sites across the US and Canada. Our trainers work hand in hand the field training customer service representatives, managers and accounting professionals how to use our proprietary software systems. The successful Applications Trainer must be prepared to learn the intricacies of the garbage industry and be a subject matter expert when interacting with the field. Trainers will need to become authorities in different training styles - online, one on one and in a classroom environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide training and support to users of Waste Connections Route Manager program

• Be a strong individual contributor to the success and goals of the Conversion and Applications Team

• Manage support tickets that pertain to RouteManager

• Assume additional responsibilities as required

• This position will require up to 50% domestic travel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA or BS degree or 1 year technical training experience

• Database and SQL knowledge a plus

• Working knowledge of Crystal Reports is a plus
