The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues. The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG's support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. From policy to practice, we are a team of economic and national security professionals providing innovative solutions for our Nation's most pressing security challenges. We have an upcoming need for a Resourcing and Budget Analyst to provide support to the Office of Strategic Capital at government offices in Northern VA. Responsibilities The Resourcing and Budget Analyst will support the leadership of the Office of Strategic Capital (OSC), part of the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research & Engineering. OSC develops and implements strategies and partnerships to accelerate and scale private investment in critical supply chain technologies needed for national security. Established in December 2022 to attract and scale investment to national security priorities, OSC aims to use U.S. comparative advantages in capital markets and economic competition to ensure critical technology and their associated supply chains needed by the DoD are available and to accelerate the development and deployment of technology critical to current and future warfighting capabilities. The candidate will analyze financial statements, conduct variance analyses, review financial data analytics, and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards. Will apply familiarity with the full budget cycle, collaborate on budget development, monitor budget performance, and prepare budget forecasts. Will assist in financial risk assessments and conduct market trend analysis for critical technology and assets. Qualifications Required:
