Description
Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to assist in delivering high-quality technical services to internal customers. This role focuses on resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues while supporting end-user systems such as desktops and laptops. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in IT, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow established processes under close supervision.
Location: Westminster, CO
Pay Rate: Up to $26 an hour
Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and hold a TS/SCI clearance upon hire
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support by identifying, prioritizing, and resolving issues related to desktop, laptop, and networked systems.
  • Coordinate all phases of desktop support including installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of software, hardware, and operating systems.
  • Monitor and maintain desktop systems to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Assist with planning and performing basic hardware installations and system configurations.
  • Monitor system performance and equipment health to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of support issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines in daily operations.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical support role.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop/laptop hardware, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts (e.g., IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) preferred.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ideal for candidates with foundational IT experience looking to grow within a support-focused environment.
