Our Company Overview: Adobe is seeking a leader to define, shape, and guide the long-term vision and growth strategy for our Digital Video and Audio (DVA) products across all surfaces. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance broad, long-term planning with practical execution. The successful candidate will ensure our ambitious vision remains both feasible and compelling. Role Description: In this role, you will define an inspiring, long-term narrative that positions our video and audio tools at the forefront of innovation, leveraging AI and other transformative technologies to enhance user experience and drive market leadership. As a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership, you will play a critical role in guiding decisions on long-term growth, innovation investments, and market expansion. Your primary focus will be the creation of a strategic vision and investment framework that informs product roadmaps for modern, customer-focused workflows across all major functional areas of the video creation process-including editorial, motion design, titling, color, effects, audio, media/project management, and interoperability-on mobile, web, and desktop. This strategy will support learning and success for new users, while enabling existing video professionals to work faster and more efficiently. You will identify opportunities to integrate emerging technologies into our existing suite of flagship products, ensuring they remain industry-leading and meet the evolving needs of both professionals and emerging creatives. This includes exploring advancements in AI-driven editing, motion graphics, and real-time collaboration features that will drive engagement, retention, and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities * Develop and articulate a compelling, long-term vision incorporating AI, interoperability, motion and other new technologies for our products that resonates across all levels of the organization. * Promote and influence on a shared vision of product interoperability, motion, creative agents and other advanced technologies with BU partners across the Adobe ecosystem (Frame, DI, DX etc.) * Focus on enhancing digital and video editing, motion and audio tools, integrating cutting-edge technologies to maintain industry leadership and fuel user retention and growth, particularly in the emerging creatives segment. * Leverage market analysis, customer research, and competitive benchmarking to identify trends, white space opportunities, including potential new products, and areas for differentiation. * Identify opportunities for strategic acquisitions and partner collaborations to accelerate product innovation and enhance our market offerings across all surfaces. * Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to integrate new initiatives with existing flagship products, ensuring a seamless and effective investment strategy across all pillars and surfaces both inside and outside of DVA. * Focus on enhancing digital and video editing, motion and audio tools, integrating cutting-edge technologies to maintain industry leadership and fuel user retention and growth, particularly in the emerging creatives segment. * Support executive decision-making with clear recommendations, presentations, and analyses. Qualifications * Deep familiarity with the media industry and creative tools landscape, including the needs of both professional creators and emerging users. * Experience working directly on desktop creative software, especially non-linear editors (NLEs), with a strong understanding of user workflows and product complexity. * 15+ years of experience in business strategy, product strategy, corporate development, or related fields, ideally within creative software, SaaS, or media technology. * Demonstrated ability to identify and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, real-time collaboration) into product and business strategies. * Proven track record of driving strategic planning, building business cases, and influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and create models that evaluate market opportunities and ROI for initiatives. * Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities; able to deliver clear, compelling presentations and strategic recommendations. * Passion for creativity, innovation, and empowering the next generation of creators. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $166,100 -- $334,500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
