Job Summary

The Sustainability Intern will work with the Sustainability Manager to achieve the following goals:

  • Waste audit and reduction plan
  • Energy Efficiency Review (identifying quick wins)
    • work to propose energy saving initiative with ROI estimates
  • Increase the optimization of our sustainability dashboards

As well as helping with the following tasks you will be exposed to:

  • Sustainable procurement programs
  • Certifications like ISO 9001 and SGP
  • Regulatory and Compliance Requests
  • Greenhouse Gas Management Programs
  • Sustainability Reporting Standards

Requirements

Pursuing a college degree in a related field strongly preferred or equivalent experience. In addition:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations
  • Passion for sustainability
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles (e.g., carbon footprint reduction, CSR and ESG reporting)
  • Data analysis & research skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and/or sustainability software's
  • Experience with sustainability projects
