Description

Role Overview:

As a Human Resources Assistant, you are responsible for assisting in HR activities and programs under general supervision. Assist with projects/assignments in benefits, compensation, staffing, employee relations, and training and development.

A strong preference for this job will be placed on internal candidates.

Compensation:

$20 - $25 per hour, Year-Round, Full Time

Minimum Qualifications:

As a successful HR Assistant you will have:



  • 2-3 years previous HR, office, clerical, or data entry experience
  • A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work on site with a variety of people and backgrounds
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and technology


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Internal: Current Knife River Employee
  • 1-2 years HR, business, or management schooling
  • Knowledge and experience in managing confidential and private data
