Talent Acquisition Associate Manager - Maintenance Sourcing

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Associate Manager - Maintenance Sourcing plays a pivotal role in partnering with our business leaders as a strategic talent advisor as well as partnering across the Talent Acquisition team to champion and optimize capabilities across sourcing, attracting and selecting the right talent for Niagara. This hybrid role works in close partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition in supporting the team's sourcing activities across the full lifecycle of recruitment and help to advance new ideas, remove barriers, and challenge the team to continually improve and find innovative solutions. Additionally, the role will take a lead in collaborating cross- functionally on enterprise-level special projects and programs as an ambassador of change.

Essential Functions

  • Strategic focus in recruiting and sourcing for maintenance roles across manufacturing, early careers and corporate functions
    • Build strong relationships and partner with TA, plant and corporate leadership through a consultative approach
    • Proactively network, engage and source maintenance talent both internal and external for current and future business needs
    • Identify the right targeted candidates from a variety of sourcing channels for both passive and active candidate recruitment
    • Provide talent market insights and strategic advice on labor market and industry trends
    • Coach and influence leaders to make effective recruiting choices that help Niagara maintain a competitive advantage within national and global markets
    • Manage a seamless candidate experience journey to ensure Niagara is seen as an employer of choice
  • Partner with business leaders and across Talent Acquisition as a strategic talent advisor through effective communication, listening and influence to enable our hiring managers to make the right hires
    • Build relationships with our internal customers to understand business needs for new capabilities, talent profiles and hiring
    • Consult with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and HR managers on talent acquisition strategies to develop comprehensive, proactive hiring plans
    • Build a strong understanding of labor market trends for functional and geographic areas of focus
    • Lead the maintenance sourcing strategy, always providing insights, recommendations and communication throughout
  • Champion and enable our team's capabilities to source, attract and select the right talent in close partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition
    • Partner across the Talent Acquisition team to prioritize strategies and define success criteria
    • Continually drive optimization of sourcing channels for both passive and active candidate recruitment to build proactive talent pipelines
    • Ensure our company is adept at selecting candidates for success within our fast-paced, rapidly growing team culture through effective interviewing techniques and assessment strategies
    • Lead partnerships with suppliers including vendor selection, implementation, and continual improvement for recruitment technologies and services such as sourcing tools, agencies, CRM platform, assessment tools, talent market analysis, etc.
  • Build sourcing capabilities across the TA team
    • Enhance the skills and capabilities of our team in the areas of innovative practices in talent sourcing and talent selection
    • Enable our team to have a strong understanding of labor market trends for their functional and geographic areas of focus
    • Provide real-time feedback and development opportunities
    • Drive adoption of new systems and process changes through engagement by implementing standardized guidelines, policy and framework in partnership with the TA leadership team
  • Collaboration, alignment and continual improvement
    • Partner with the HRIS team to optimize Workday Recruiting effectiveness and efficiency
    • Partner across the Talent Acquisition team to deliver talent solutions across the business, such as the opening of new plant locations, entry into new international markets, or support of seasonal hiring initiatives
    • Partner across the HR TA team on overall talent strategies such as talent assessment, talent development, to contribute to overall talent pipeline development
    • Partner with Sourcers to ensure a strong overall pipeline of candidates to fill current and future roles. Provide candidate profile direction, priorities and feedback.
    • Partner with our compensation team in crafting complex executive offers
    • Partner with internal teams and cross-functionally on special projects and programs as a TA Subject Matter Expert
    • Lead change management and communication plans to obtain key stakeholder buy-in and ensure successful launches
    • Develop internal and external communications to share TA programs and organizational updates
    • Identify opportunities for continual improvement, make recommendations, and lead and implement change efforts with hiring managers at a department/plant level

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 4 Years - Experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or relation field
    • 4 Years - Experience working in position with strategic recruiting
    • 2 Years - Experience leading and managing teams

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 6 Years - Experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or related field
    • 6 Years - Experience working in position with strategic recruiting
    • 4 Years - Experience leading and managing teams
    • Experience in a corporate, manufacturing and/or supply chain organization
    • Experience with Workday Recruiter
    • International recruitment experience in Latin America, Asia, and/or Europe

Education

  • Minimum Required:
